After leaving Pella, we will visit the beatiful village of Vergina. In the ancient times, the name of Vergina was Aigai and it was the first capital of the Kingdom of Macedon. The wider archaeological site of Vergina comprises the Museum, the Palace, the city (ancient Greek term: «άστυ»), the acropolis and the surrounding area.
