Important Information

All hot air balloon flights depend on suitable weather conditions, operational requirements, and the pilot’s final safety approval.

Free-flying hot air balloons do not operate directly above the protected rock formations and monasteries of Meteora. Flights take place over suitable areas of the surrounding Thessalian countryside.

We can arrange tethered balloon experiences near Meteora separately for weddings, photography sessions, and private celebrations, subject to necessary permissions and suitable conditions.

The exact launch location and flight route depend on prevailing wind conditions.

The sunset hot air balloon flight operates with a minimum of four fully paying adult passengers.

All flights are subject to suitable weather conditions, availability, and the pilot's final safety approval.

Gratuities: Tips for the pilot and ground crew are optional and at your discretion.
Hotel Transfers: Private round-trip transportation between your hotel and the balloon launch site is available upon request at an additional cost.

FLIGHT SCHEDULE & DEPARTURE INFORMATION

Departure Time: Late afternoon, before sunset. The exact meeting time will be confirmed prior to your flight.

Departure Location: We use different launch sites within the Meteora region, depending on prevailing wind direction, weather conditions, and operational requirements.

Meeting Point Confirmation: Guests traveling independently will receive the exact departure location and meeting instructions one day before their scheduled flight.

Private Transfers: We can arrange comfortable round-trip transfers from your hotel to the balloon launch site upon request for an additional cost.

Important Notice: All hot air balloon flights are subject to suitable weather conditions and the pilot's final safety approval. Departure times and locations may be adjusted, or flights rescheduled, when necessary.
